The author has both a BA and MA from Purdue University with a specialization in military and foreign policy history. He holds a JD from the University of Puget Sound, School of Law. He has 15 years experience in IT management and system administration. He holds SANS Institute Course Certificates for Legal Issues in Information Technology and Information Security and Hacker Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling. He also holds GIAC Government Security Leadership Certification.
The author has developed over 40 websites over the last 15 years. The largest of these websites is the U.S. Scouting Service Project found at http://usscouts.org, which has an average of 10 million page views per month. This enterprise started as a single website and has now evolved to include a family of 28 separate websites sharing a common brand, unified search, and shared navigation.
